The biennial symposium of the Working Time Society “Shiftwork” brings together individuals with scientific interest in the psycho-social aspects and health problems connected with night and shift work. Every two years researchers, scientists, students, trainees, industry and policy professionals come together to share new knowledge and network with their peers. This year's symposium seeks a sustainable future for shiftwork with three key themes: safety, health and wellbeing and equality. The symposium was first convened in Norway in 1969 and continues to be a flagship event for the Working Time Society.
